22. The Mad Max Mask
A gas mask covered in spikes and real bullets is certainly a striking fashion choice, but it’s a no-go for carry-on bags. Whether the owner was a Slipknot fan or a cosplayer, the spikes and ammunition made it a prohibited item.
TSA rules regarding ammunition are very strict, and “decorative” bullets are often treated the same as live ones. If you have a post-apocalyptic mask to transport, always consult with TSA before you arrive at the airport.
