Soon after making the decision, Jaqi’s daughters were signed by a modeling agency in Los Angeles—at just six months old. The modeling career took off quickly, and before long, Ava and Leah were getting booked and building a presence in the competitive baby modeling world. The sudden shift from diaper changes to professional photo shoots marked a major change in their family routine.
However, this new path wasn’t without its challenges. Jaqi was also caring for a two-year-old son at the time, and the added stress of juggling multiple young children and a demanding modeling schedule took its toll. “It was hard enough to get out of the door most days,” she admitted. After just three months, she pulled back and decided the timing wasn’t right for such a commitment.
