But like the movie of the same name depicts, Air Force One *does* actually have the capability to refuel mid-air in a pinch. It’s a pretty involved procedure, and one they keep for emergencies and special occasions, but it’s a hell of a feature to have if you ever need some gas while you’re out and about.

Basically, the way it works is a pole comes out of the plane, kinda like a tail. And another plane can refuel it mid-flight while still in the air.
