19. The Toothpaste Dispenser Gun
In an attempt to make brushing your teeth more exciting, a 1950s inventor released a “toothpaste gun” that shot minty paste directly onto your brush with the pull of a trigger. Great in theory. In reality? Mint mayhem.
The pressure was often too strong, sending toothpaste flying across bathrooms, into mirrors, and sometimes into eyeballs. Kids loved it. Parents hated it. Dentists were confused. The device eventually faded into obscurity, but not before making oral hygiene feel like a paintball match.
