Luggage Could Go Missing
Much like flying, cruising with luggage isn’t always smooth sailing. With thousands of bags being moved during embarkation, it’s not unusual for a suitcase to get delayed or even lost. The staff handles massive quantities of luggage in a short window of time, so mix-ups can and do happen, especially on busy departure days.
If you’re worried, it’s smart to carry a small bag with essentials. That said, if your bags don’t show up, most cruise ships are well-stocked with shops where you can buy clothes, toiletries, and other necessities. It may not be ideal, but at least you won’t be left stranded.
