31. The Brass Knuckle Umbrella

Most umbrellas are standard travel accessories, but some designs are a bit too aggressive for the TSA. A man was stopped because the handle of his umbrella was shaped like brass knuckles.
Security claimed the handle looked too much like a real weapon to be allowed in the cabin. It’s a frustrating way to lose an umbrella, but it reinforces the rule that “dual-purpose” items are rarely allowed through security.
