5. Turn On Auto High-Beams and Let the Car Handle Night Driving

Manually flicking high beams on and off is old-school. Most modern cars have an “Auto” setting on the headlight stalk. Once activated, the system automatically switches to high beams on dark roads and dips them instantly when it detects oncoming traffic or taillights ahead.
It reduces glare for other drivers and gives you better visibility at night without constant distraction. Fuel efficiency even improves slightly because you’re not forgetting to use them. Only real drivers leave this feature on permanently and let the car do the thinking.
