A shy woman, endowed with the speed, reflexes, and senses of a cat, walks a thin line between criminal and hero, even as a detective doggedly pursues her, fascinated by both of her personas, after she’s resurrected by cats following a corporate conspiracy.

The story is uninteresting, muddled, and trite with lackluster action, poor special effects looking ropey or animated. Idiotic decisions, predictable villainy around addictive cream, and unflattering, unsexy costumes (e.g., poster suit) deviate from comics. Embarrassing details like toe-sticking shoes, catnip freak-outs, and goofs (inconsistent cat gender) make it campy and banal. A major disaster with abominable reviews, it earned Razzies for absurdity, best enjoyed ironically at midnight screenings.
