Lily’s Sudden Illness
Unfortunately, Oscar’s worst fears were realized as Alex told him the dreadful news. Lily and her mother had both been brought to the facility, but the little girl had been taken seriously ill shortly after. The people looking after her thought it probably had something to do with the eggs that had been discovered under her bed. Perhaps they had infected or poisoned her in some way? Oscar was too stunned to speak.
It was his worst nightmare. His daughter had a mysterious, sudden illness, and he wasn’t even with her, holding her hand and comforting his wife. It was almost too much to process.
