All About Blood
The previous blood tests had proved that Oscar didn’t have the virus, so his blood was “clean”. Alex proposed a blood transfusion, with Oscar’s extracted blood being given to his daughter, with the hopes that his healthy blood cells would stabilize hers. It could be a long shot, but Oscar was willing to try anything. He couldn’t bear to see his daughter looking so sick. He said he’d do the transfusion straightaway.
However, it wasn’t that simple. Before the transfusion could happen, other tests and procedures needed to be carried out to ensure that it was safe for both father and daughter.
