The Expert Arrives
Luckily, the expert was eager to help the family, and he arrived just 15 minutes after being called. He seemed to know something that they didn’t, which both reassured and unsettled them. When he got to the house, Hilly and Oscar quickly welcomed him inside and explained the issue. But to their surprise, he didn’t want to go upstairs. Instead, he pulled out a book and pointed at a photo, asking if those were the eggs in question.
The parents confirmed that those weren’t the eggs in their daughter’s bedroom, then caught sight of another image. Clearly, the expert hadn’t expected that, and his shock showed on his face.
