34. Not a first responder, but I direct a private security team at location with an open invitation to the public. We see a lot. If it means anything from me, I would encourage First Aid/CPR/AED training.

In 8 years, I’ve had to use CPR and AED 11 times. Every time I came on scene there was a crowd of people doing nothing. No one knew what to do. FA/CPR/AED training is not expensive and can save a life. It’s rare that anyone else will be able to step in and do it for you. Be the person that steps in. Edit: Also, when you call an emergency number, the first words out of your mouth should be your location/address. That way, if you get cut off they at least know where to look for you.
