Women Wore Mouse-Skin Eyebrows

In the 18th century, thick, expressive eyebrows were all the rage – but eyebrow pencils hadn’t been invented yet. Instead, loads of women would use little strips of actual mouse skin, gluing them onto their faces to create the illusion of full, flawless brows.
