Langkawi Sky Bridge (Malaysia)

The Langkawi Sky Bridge, located on the resort island of Langkawi in Malaysia, is a relatively new structure completed in 2005. This bridge is designed to appear as if it’s floating in the air. It spans 125 meters in length and is situated atop a mountain. To reach the bridge, which is 660 meters above sea level, you first need to take a cable car up the mountain. The cable car accommodates six people and follows a route that becomes almost vertical at certain points.

The cable car floor is made of glass, which is already a bit nerve-wracking. After arriving at the summit station, you can reach the bridge on foot or by using the SkyGlide. Upon reaching the Sky Bridge, its height and the strong winds create a whole new level of fear. It’s recommended to leave behind anything that might get blown away, and those who are lighter in weight should be especially careful.
