28. Clownfish Can Change Gender — All of Them Start as Males
Every clownfish is born male, and in a group, the largest becomes the dominant female while the second-largest stays male. If the female dies, the top male can physically change into a female to keep the group reproducing. It’s a real biological switch triggered by social hierarchy.
