9. Emergency SOS – Help Is One Button Press Away
In an emergency, a few quick presses of the power button (or side button) can automatically call emergency services, send your location and medical info to chosen contacts, and even play a loud alarm to attract help.
On both iPhone and most Androids: Set up **Emergency SOS** and add emergency contacts in **Settings → Safety & Emergency** (or equivalent). Practice once—it only takes seconds. Many seniors say just knowing this exists gives them and their families huge peace of mind when traveling or living alone.
