A Family Reunion of Sorts
Though it was under terrible circumstances, Oscar couldn’t wait to be reunited with his family. He’d felt isolated and terrified all day, wondering what had happened to them, and he’d soon be able to put his mind at rest. Alex told him to put on a hazmat suit and follow him to his daughter’s room. If Hilly was also virus-free, she’d meet them there. However, neither parent would be allowed to touch their daughter to reduce the risk of transmission.
Oscar wanted to know everything about this strange virus and the mysterious eggs that had caused it. Somehow, it had infected Lily with a dangerous virus and Oscar didn’t know if there was a cure.
