24. Activate Hill Descent Control on Steep Mountain Roads

Going down a long, steep grade? Look for the “HDC” or “Hill Descent” button near the traction control. It automatically applies brakes to maintain a safe, constant low speed (usually 5–15 mph) without you riding the brake pedal.
This reduces brake overheating and fade on long descents. Real drivers in hilly areas or with trailers swear by it for safer, more controlled downhill driving. It also saves brake pads and gives you confidence on unfamiliar mountain roads.
