Misleading “Serving Sizes” on Snacks
You might think that small bag of chips is one serving—but check the label closely. Many snacks are intentionally labeled with unrealistically small serving sizes to make calorie and fat counts seem lower than they actually are.
That “100 calorie” label? It could refer to just half the bag, or even a third. Manufacturers rely on people skipping the fine print. So while you think you’re making a sensible choice, you might be eating two to three times the stated nutrition—and none the wiser.
