There’s a Lizard in My Shoe
A man in Louisiana called 911 in a full panic because he found a tiny lizard inside his sneaker. “It’s looking at me weird,” he said. He refused to touch the shoe and demanded police arrive with “animal control or flame throwers.”
An officer did stop by—likely out of curiosity more than duty—and gently shook the lizard out onto the lawn. The man reportedly thanked the officer by saluting and swearing off footwear for a week.
