Demanding the Truth
By this point, Oscar had had enough. He could see that the chief officer was shocked by what he’d heard, and he wanted to know, once and for all, what was going on in his house. Oscar joined the whispering group and demanded that they tell him the truth. Why was there such secrecy when this was their home? Something as small as a few eggs had spiraled into a massive investigation.
However, what happened next was the last thing Oscar had expected. Instead of the truth of the eggs, he got a very unwelcome surprise from the police officers beside him.
