Police Intervention
Scientists were one thing, but the family had never thought that the police would be involved! However, the team called the cops, and even more people filled the house. Oscar was trying to reason with the expert, but he now seemed irritated by the questions and kept the discussion between the researchers and the police. The head of the investigation did try to reassure the family, but was called away when a discovery was made.
Everybody was whispering, and they seemed to be deliberately keeping the family in the dark. Whatever they’d discovered, it was serious, and action would have to be taken.
