The Confrontation
When Alex, accompanied by the others, left the room, Oscar followed. He would no longer sit and be placated; he wanted answers now. In the corridor outside, Oscar demanded that Alex reveal everything that he knew about the eggs and the virus. Seeing that he had no other choice, Alex agreed, but there was one condition. Oscar would have to sign a contract promising that he would never share the information with anyone else.
Oscar instantly agreed, knowing that it was the only way he’d get to the truth. What he would learn may be the key to saving Lily and resuming their peaceful family life.
