An Extraterrestrial Virus
Alex explained that the eggs found under Lily’s bed were far from ordinary. In fact, they were like nothing else on the planet. They believed that the eggs came from a creature of sorts, likely extraterrestrial. That was why the virus was so rare; it was almost impossible for a human to come into contact with eggs from an otherworldly being. Oscar remembered how warm they’d felt. Had there been other creatures ready to hatch?
Somehow, those eggs had ended up in Lily’s room. The little girl had been blissfully unaware that she was sleeping above what could have been a real-life monster!
