One imagines stepping directly from the ship onto powdery beaches and colorful promenades – but the reality at cruise ports is usually more sobering. These docking zones are functional, not pretty, and often more reminiscent of industrial areas with concrete walls and containers.
However, as soon as you leave the port, the true beauty of the destination is revealed. So: don’t be fooled by the first impression – just walk past the cranes and warehouses and into the adventure.
