22. The Rooster That Waged War on a Mailman
In rural Ireland, a territorial rooster began a daily assault on the local mailman. Each morning, like clockwork, the bird launched from the hedges in a flurry of feathers and fury. The poor postman took to carrying an umbrella—not for the weather, but for defense.
The homeowner apologized profusely, but the rooster was relentless. Eventually, the post office reassigned the route, and the rooster strutted around victoriously for days. He’s now affectionately referred to as “General Cluck” and has his own warning sign at the front gate.
