Las Vegas, Nevada is known for its thrills, and the Big Shot ride at the Stratosphere certainly lives up to the reputation. Riders are shot 160 feet into the air at breakneck speed, making it a heart-pounding experience just to imagine. These four thrill-seekers clearly have nerves of steel — or at least, a strong sense of adventure.
The ride may be terrifying, but the reactions captured here are priceless. On the left, one girl’s shoes may have gone flying, while the next seems completely lost in the chaos, hair and limbs everywhere. The boy beside her is screaming at the top of his lungs, and the last girl looks like she’s pleading for divine intervention. It’s moments like these that make extreme rides unforgettable — and endlessly entertaining to watch.
